 |
Joe Breier has been part of the "game day staff" ever since the inception of the Logger ball club. He enters his 6th year in a new role as color analyst, working with play by play specialist; John Pappadapolous on the Logger Radio Network. In the past you may have enjoyed Breier as he kept alive the memory of the legendary radio and television announcer Harry Caray on the field and in the stands. In his last two years, remote microphone in hand, Joe was the announcer for the Logger batters as they came up to bat. Breier, in the "Harry" role, has also been instrumental in producing radio and television advertising for the Loggers for the past 5 years. Over the past 5 seasons, he’s done so much on the field and in the stands that even Joe states "The only thing I haven’t done..is bat". Breier works locally for Honda Motorwerks of LaCrosse. previouse to that he was the program director for La Crosses very own 100.1 FM radio station. "I prefer to listen to all sporting events on the radio" says Breier. "Radio tells me more about what is happening on the field. Even if the game is on T.V., I still enjoy the radio broadcast twice as much". Breier looks forward to this season as a way to make an already great radio broadcast product even better for the Loggers. Joe has been married to his lovely wife Connie for almost 30 years and has three children, Heather, Jason, and Andrea. Joe and his wife also have 3 young grandchildren which Joe says has added a lot to our life recently. You will still see Joe as " Harry" for the 100th year anniversary of the seventh inning stretch.
