Former Logger Chris Sale Comes in at #4 on College Baseball Blog's Top 100 Players

January 18, 2010
The College Baseball Blog continues to roll out their countdown for the 2010 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country.
Their list continues today with number 4 with junior LHP Chris Sale from Florida Gulf Coast. He is from Lakeland Florida and attended Lakeland High School. He played under Mike Campbell and was selected in the 21st round by the Colorado Rockies but decided to head to Florida Gulf Coast to continue his baseball career.
Sale was a 2008 NWL mid-season all-star when he went 2-3 with a 3.23 ERA over 53 innings while striking out 74.
The 6-6 lefty has been projected by many to be selected in the top five to ten picks in the upcoming MLB draft in June.
